feeling shit. did an audition this morning for thie german choreographer for 2months project in Munich. Got thru half way but didnt get thru to the final round...was thinking ok..my life is taking me wherever I need to go..but WHERE the HELL? :-) hehe, me going mad..and getting old. maybe by the end of the whole audition life, Id become a great-life-philosopher. who knows huh.

Going thru all the names on my phone, no one to call or text to say 'hey let's meet up and do something!' Im having my own space 2night as Alison asked me to house-sit her place over the weekend. well, she doesnt actually need anyone to housesit, it's just that she's being nice asking me if I want to stay there as she knows how small my room is.

I feel like being around with people tonight as Im feeling down... a quiet night with myself..would feel lonely...but maybe i need it.

wanna have some fun.
wanna put make-up on and put one of my dresses on.
wanna meet someone and just talk.

:-)

what is all this about???

Before I forget, I wanna write down my Baileys experience!

it was such a great experience. I saw the ad looking for dancers for Baileys' commercial at The Place while I was doing the dancers' project. It said that they were looking for strong dancers with contact improv. experience. and the ad would be choroegraphed by Liam Steel and Rob Tannion, ex DV8 dancers. I saw the performance 'Stan won't dance' in which Liam and Rob danced last May and it was jusssssst brilliant. so, decided to audition for it. (also the fact that the ad being a tv commercial would pay well..)

anyway, after the recall and costume fitting, I was confirmed for the commercial and was soooo happy. (how nervous I was while I was waiting for their call...i even felt sick) I was really glad that I got to work with Liam and Rob, and releaved that Id be able to treat my parents dinner or something when they come here in september..

We rehearsed for 5days, well, actually for 4days. cuz the first day was more like an orientation. the set (bar) was soley made for the commecial. it looked just like a normal bar. After warm-up and a few contact improv.exercises, we were put into a few different groups, like business group/sofa group which I was in/bouncer and guys/table group and the phone and stairs group etc. In our sofa group, I got to work with Dylan, Jo and Simon. had so much fun..all were great dancers..from physical theatre directors, Bombay dreams musical star to street, commercial dancers to exRombert, Michael Clark dancers..etc..each had such an amazing experience behind them. i felt so lucky to be given the opportunity to work with them. Our shooting day started as we got picked up from Hammersmith at 6 30 in the morning. (which meant I had to get up at 5am to get to Hammersmith) then we would have breakfast there at the studio, then get made-up after we put our costumes on. Our group didnt even get to do anything for the 1st of the shooting as they were focusing on Zoe and business group. Apparently the camera equipment they were using is worth a good house in London. This guy wearing a vest attached with a camera moved around the bar and was filming as we were dancing. There were a couple of small monitors and we could see what they were filmming on site. The director was also watching it thru the monitor and he'd say 'cut' every seconds. During the shoot, we were fed very well. Full catering company was hired on site. I ate so much..thought it's my chance to eat! hehe...anyway this job pays quite well..i just cant imagine the entire budget for this commercial..there were dancers, 30 of us..then make-up people, costume people, set-crew, camera crew, directors etc. must be millions of pounds. For 3days, we finished around 8pm and by the time I finally got home was around 10. went to bed at about 12 and had to get up 5am next morning.

On the last day, I borrowed a digital camera from big bro(my flatmate) to take some photos. I wanted take a documentary-type photos from the morning pick-up, breakfast, costume and make-up, shooting, the set and dancers, crew etc throughout the day. I took about 60 picz on the digital camera..however, to my sadness, more than half the picz gone disappeared and i dont know how. I asked Boram to put picz on the computer and somehow they were just gone...ack ack ack! i was 'fucking' annoyed..but ...what can i do.. life goes on. -.-

I loved every moment of it. esp. people. we got quite close and felt like a comany already by the time we started shooting. the ads will be on air from October in Ireland first but it doesnt come to UK until March next year... well, I think Id forget about it by then...

wow it's 1am now. time to hit my bed!
